Belonging to our sales division, reporting to TSR Manager, the successful candidate will have to pursue and develop sales activities in the area according to company business plan.
• Identify and collect customer needs; prospect and analyze customer sales potential in order to expand and maintain the company customer data base
• Describe market needs; maintain and update a market intelligence database for the area (including market review, seed technology watch, etc.) and anticipate market trends in autonomy.
• Design the local trial plan, including sample needs and standard/check varieties. Set up single trials. Evaluate single trials. Write single trials synthesis and reports and submit a trial plan synthesis/report to the Sales Manager. Propose the varieties advancement/stop/retry to the Sales Manager. Identify at early stage the sales potential of new varieties.
• Support Breeder trial set up in your area
• During pre-commercial & product launch phases: bring product knowledge of new varieties & contribute to design sales arguments and communication tools. Propose & implement promotion actions of precommercial varieties, the launch of new commercial varieties and punctual sales actions in the defined area.
• Provide adapted technical advice to the customers (direct & indirect).
• Design sales forecast for each variety in the dedicated tool and follow up forecast completion (take corrective actions & propose forecast changes when required)
• Apply the price & sales policy.
• Propose and negotiate Customer specific sales actions validated by the management in order to reach the sales revenue target
• Control that direct & indirect customers confirmed their orders to the Customer Service (eventually directly take the order from the customer).
• Follow up the sales target completion & propose corrective actions when applicable.
• Write and submit sales reports to the Sales Manager.
• Propose account payment conditions review; for past due, realize money collection actions jointly with the Credit Management team.
• Provide technical expertise at customer level & manage the settlement of claims & complaints jointly under the supervision of his manager.
Intermediate English (preferred), Beginner English (acceptable)
Master degree + 1 to 2 years experience
Bachelor degree + 5 years experience
