SUPPORT FUNCTIONS - RISK & QUALITY MANAGEMENT

Main Goal

We are looking for our future QHS Manager, who will be a key partner for Business Unit.
You will be responsible for
- Safety policy and compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Quality policy and compliance with quality and food safety standards for products sold,
- Compliance with environmental protection standards and procedures at all industrial sites,
- Crisis management for the BU

Job description

Reporting to the BU Operations Director, you will be responsible for

  • Proposing the BU's quality and safety policies and coordinating their implementation
  • Promoting the deployment of quality, safety and environmental policies to all employees.
  • Organising the monitoring of quality, safety and environmental management in accordance with the standards set by the company (certification), in line with the requirements of stakeholders and the latest version.
  • Defining the methodology and key indicators and ensure that they are simple to use.
  • Monitoring developments in quality, safety and environmental systems and advising General Management on the development of standards best suited to the business.
  • Organising management reviews.
  • Organising and monitoring customer audits and audits by certification bodies, and coordinating and communicating action plans.
  • Drafting documents specific to the Quality, Safety and Environment Management system.
  • Checking the implementation and application of procedures by organising internal audits, and recommending any necessary corrective measures
  • Administrative and financial activities : 
    Designing the budget and monitoring it and managing the documentation system
  • Team leadership / management : you will have line responsibility for a team that includes coordinator for  quality, safety, and security at BU level as well as environment for all operations sites. You will also be responsible for the cross-functional management of the quality manager on all sites and safety referents.

Profile

You have a Master or Engineer degree with 5 to 10 years' experience in equivalent positions in an industrial environment.

Knowledge of agri-food processes and  food safety regulations would be a plus.

 You have the ability to manage multi-site crisis situations.

You are familiar with safety requirements in industry and have the ability to develop a managerial safety culture.

You are keen to work on sites in direct contact with operations.

As the position has a significant food safety dimension, you will have knowledge of HACCP standards and be a certified auditor.

Knowledge of environmental regulations and energy management would be a plus.

You are fluent in English and have a good command of IT tools.

 You are recognized for your strategic vision and your ability to propose a QHS roadmap.

Your ability to adapt, your rigour, your ability to make proposals, your open-mindedness and your team spirit will enable you to constantly seek to optimise our quality, safety and environmental results, and to advise management on the implementation of action plans.

As a team manager, you will enable your colleagues to grow and give them a sense of responsibility.
